Although I’ve never met Teri in person, we are now connected forever through the beautiful custom made quilts she created for me! After my father tragically passed away in a motorcycle accident, the emptiness I felt was overwhelming. When you have nothing real left in this world to cling to, you wish for something, anything to hold on to. I remembered asking my father years ago if he still had any of his Airforce uniforms left that he could send me, as I wanted to make a military quilt, even though I’m not skilled in sewing. However, I could never bring myself to take apart those precious uniforms he wore since enlisting before Vietnam. Then, I started seeing the breathtakingly AMAZING EXPERT level quilts that Teri was donating for Doberman rescues and K9 quilts. Eventually, I gathered enough courage to ask her if I could commission a quilt from my father’s military uniforms. Teri was more than EXCITED to work on the memorial quilts for me! I entrusted her completely, knowing she clearly knows what she’s doing, especially since I struggle to even speak of my dad without getting emotional. When I received the stunning quilts from Teri, those were the first happy tears I shed while remembering my dad. Each design includes pieces of his uniforms from his lifetime—she sewed patches, ranks, and even used his pants tags to make them personal. Never in my life could I have hoped for anything this perfect to hold on to. I will ALWAYS appreciate, love, and cherish Teri and the incredible work she put into these Vezzani quilts for me! I’m happy to answer any questions if someone has them.

I finally have received a gorgeous custom made quilt designed and created by the über talented quilting artist Teri Vezzani. I was completely over the moon when it arrived! If anything, it is even more lovely in person than it was in the photos. Most of the best things in life are! My love for butterflies drew me in at first sight when I saw this particular quilt. The colors had such a beautiful impact on me, and I just knew I had to have this in my home to liven up the ambiance! As you explore all of Teri’s quilt designs, you will find it difficult to choose because they are all so lovely. What impresses me most about Teri Vezzani is that she is a fellow dog lover, using her beautiful Doberman Pinschers as muses for many of her exquisite K9 quilts. Doberman Pinschers have been a cherished breed in my life as well. My next quilt from Teri will most likely be a Dobie Centric theme, especially since I no longer have my beloved Dobie girl who passed in 2017; she meant everything to me. Thanks again to Teri Vezzani for creating such delicious and colorful 'Quilts As Art' for us all to enjoy, including the heartwarming memorial quilts that help brighten our lives.

I opened an unexpected package today and was overwhelmed… It hasn’t been a great couple of weeks, and it truly warmed my heart. I picked up my custom made quilt from Teri today and all I can say is WOW! These pictures do not do her quilt designs justice! She created the perfect design for my daughter. I explained what I was looking for, she asked questions about my daughter, and really listened… every detail reflects my girl! Even the back has the most luxurious blue fabric. The whole thing is perfection! I just had to show it off and say thank you again to Teri. You're the best at creating k9 quilts and memorial quilts too!
