Hi and welcome to Vezzani Quilts! We're a small, passion-driven business in Southern California, and we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you visit vezzaniquilts.shop (our "Site"), inquire about custom quilts, or place an order. We're committed to being transparent and keeping things simple—because trust is what makes our cozy community stitch together!  

By using our Site or services, you agree to this Policy. If you have questions, just reach out—we're here to chat. We may update this Policy from time to time (e.g., as laws change or our practices evolve), and we'll notify you of big updates via email or on the Site. Your continued use after changes means you accept them.  

1. What Information Do We Collect?

We only collect the basics needed to create your dream quilt and keep in touch. Here's what that looks like:  Personal Information You Provide: When you contact us for a consultation, place an order, or sign up for updates, we may collect your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and payment details (like credit card info, handled securely by trusted processors like PayPal). For custom orders, you might also share preferences like color ideas or themes.  

Automatically Collected Info: As you browse our Site, we may gather non-personal details like your IP address, browser type, device info, and pages visited (via cookies or similar tools—more on that below). This helps us improve the Site and understand what you love.  

No Sensitive Data: We don't collect things like health info, racial data, or financial details beyond what's needed for payments.

We don't collect info from children under 13, and our Site isn't meant for kids—if you're a parent and think we've got data from a child, contact us right away!  

2. How Do We Use Your Information?

Your info helps us do what we do best: craft quilts and connect with you. Specifically, we use it to:  Process and fulfill orders (e.g., shipping your quilt).

Short answer: Not really—we're a one-person operation! But here's the full scoop:  Service Providers: We share with trusted partners who help us run things, like email tools (e.g., Mailchimp for newsletters), payment processors (e.g., PayPal), or shipping services (e.g., USPS). They must protect your data and only use it for our purposes.  

Legal Reasons: If required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights/safety (e.g., fraud), we may disclose info.  

Business Transfers: If we ever sell the business, your info could transfer to the new owner (with notice to you).  

No Selling: We don't sell your personal info to third parties for their own use. Ever.

For California folks, we haven't sold data in the past 12 months and don't plan to—more on your rights below!

You control your info! Here's how:  Access/Update/Delete: Email us to see, correct, or erase your data.  Opt-Out: Unsubscribe from emails anytime (look for the link at the bottom).  Do Not Track: We respect browser signals.

For California Residents (CCPA/CPRA Rights): Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act), you have extra rights:  Right to Know: Request details on what we've collected, shared, or sold about you (up to twice a year).  

Right to Delete: Ask us to delete your info (with some exceptions, like for ongoing orders).  

Right to Opt-Out of Sales: Though we don't sell data, you can always confirm.  

Right to Correct/Non-Discrimination: Fix inaccuracies or limit use without penalty.  

How to Exercise: Submit a verifiable request via email to vezzaniquilting@gmail.com We'll respond within 45 days (extensions possible). We don't charge for these rights or discriminate against you for using them. In the last 12 months, no CA residents requested these rights.

7. International Users

Our Site is for U.S. folks, but if you're outside, know your data goes to California servers. We comply with U.S. laws and don't intentionally target other countries.
